From vintage war memorabilia to the jungle – complete two Cultural Passports in Bletchley

Pick up one of Pedalling Culture’s Cultural Passports at Bletchley Park this April and discover a real life adventure on your doorstep!

Step back in time to the 1940’s when Alan Turing and his team created a machine which cracked the World War II Enigma code! Located in the original hut, 11A, The Bombe Breakthrough explores the challenges Enigma posed, and how the code breaking machine was built, using oral archives and historical, wartime, objects including decrypted Nazi messages!

To take part in Pedalling Culture’s Cultural Passport campaign simply visit any of the 17 participating Milton Keynes venues to pick up a passport – answer a question on the back of the passport, which relates to that venue, and post it into the post box to receive a badge and be entered into a prize draw.

Running throughout the entire month of April, the Pedalling Culture Passport campaign not only encourages exploration of the city’s cultural venues and libraries, but promotes sustainable transportation, whether that’s by foot, pedal power, skate or even electric vehicle!

For residents of Bletchley they can easily fill out two Cultural Passports close to home. After a visit to Bletchley Park take the 15 minute stroll over to The Bletchley Library which features a brightly coloured, jungle themed, children’s area complete with throne chairs and lots of books which the little ones will love!

Simply complete the Cultural Passports in both venues and post them to double your chances of winning a fantastic prize, including a £100 intu Gift Card.
