Your Central Milton Keynes passport to success

Isabel Hicks | Apr 2019

Are you visiting Central Milton Keynes this Easter break?

Central Milton Keynes is home to three of our cultural venues and is easily accessible via the redway network and by bus and train.

Whether you need a break from shopping, a pre-dinner excursion or a post-cinema walk with the family, you can follow the below itinerary and be in with three chances of winning some fantastic prizes.

You can complete your Cultural Routes Postcard for free at the recently re-opened MK Gallery, MK Theatre and the Central Library.

For each completed postcard you will go into a prize draw – the more venues you visit, the higher your chance of winning! Prizes include INTU shopping vouchers.

Start off at the MK Gallery, exploring the brand-new Lie of the Land Exhibition or attend one of the creative children’s sessions, Start the Art and Saturday Studio.

You can then go next door into MK Theatre to complete your second postcard. Whilst you’re there, make sure you have a look at the Creative Learning Sessions taking place during the Easter break and beyond.

Get some fresh air and explore the free art in Campbell Park. From the Light Pyramid (Liliane Lijn, 2012) to the Milton Keynes Rose (Gordon Young, 2014), there is plenty to see. Download our Blue Cultural Route for more information.

Walk, cycle or get a bus via a route of your choice to the Central Library.

Here you can get your third postcard stamped and learn about and see Milton Keynes’ very own dinosaur, the Icthyosaur.

Before you go home, why not pop into Robotazia, the Robot Café located in the events space, and be served your coffee and cake by Amy the robot waitress!

The Cultural Passport is available until the 30th April.
